The serving crews in the restaurant and bars are great.genuine friendliness and attention to the customers The decor is a little dated, and feels a bit seedy so don't expect the Bellagio, but do expect homely, lived in, and totally unpretentious.ĭrinks are cheap, and food is beyond great value - generous helpings and quality produce - in both the cafe/restaurant and buffet.įor me the one thing that has made it stand out is friendliness the people working there - excluding the check-in desk staff, but in their defence they always were faced with queues of people coming and going and it was probably more a case of they don't get the time/opportunity to shine. ![]() It was smokey as plenty of other people said but the rooms were clean enough, pool was nice and quiet with plenty shaded areas (its 44° today). OK, so the hotel was being renamed as we were here, and they introduced a $3/day service charge but hey, its majorly cheaper than any other hotel. First time visitor to Vegas/US and as a non gambler was a bit unsure about the whole trip.the name Terribles never phased me as it was recommended by family (who were all staying at same time) and they summed it up as "basic, not flashy but cheap, and knowing the trip as a whole would cost, a cheap bed for the night was important.
